TO BE A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER IN VENICE
A personal thought
Venice in the past: a city a Republic and an Empire: the Serenissima.
As of today in Venice, more and more people hope to see it revived as a capital of an independent Nation.
Venice is closely linked to the concept of time.
It is a city where past eras are still survive, for example through art and architecture, but also represents ages that are gone, where what often remains a glorious memory.
In Venice (or from Venice) the past sometimes wins (Vivaldi and Canaletto are two examples) and sometimes losses (its administrative and low population-growth are all examples, but in a negative sense).
Venice is a city with a strong character to the point that here more than anywhere else you can theorize and practice an ambient photography, borrowing from contemporary music not only the term ambient music but even the creative soul that is upstream, to feel not only like photographers but conceptually composers of photography because it no longer influences you from outside (the place to be) but from your very own spirit, through the inner feelings that the site allows you to feel and will affect the use of the photographic means.
What emerges is sometimes technically attributable to the gimmicks of Futurist photography, although different, and we would like to be allowed to write it, in the most noble way.
Venezia centers the creativity of our spirit.
… Venice that becomes the soul of the creativity of our spirit.

Giuseppe Ungaretti, Sentimento del Tempo (“The Feeling of Time”), 1931
E per la luce giusta,
Cadendo solo un’ombra viola
Sopra il giogo meno alto,
La lontananza aperta alla misura,
Ogni mio palpito, come usa il cuore,
Ma ora l’ascolto,
T’affretta, tempo, a pormi sulle labbra

Bravo!
Your collaborators for catering and floral design are of the highest level.
Honored to have been your wedding photographer in Venice.
